Asta La Vista Baby

With a heavy heart I finally traded in my 2003.5 MT6 G35 Sedan.... Being I have a 350z Roadster MT6 I figured I needed a more practicle car then the Sedan so I got a 06' Infiniti FX35. I wanted something that had more room and with the seats folded down I could load some bigger boxes in. I know a Pathfinder or Armada would of been a more practicle choice but I gotta have some sportiness in my vehicles, I tried out the Mercdes, Lexus, VW and BMW X5 crossover vehicles but there body styles seemed rather wimpy, although the VW Tourog was not bad looking but in the end the FX fit that bill the best.

If anyone is interested I traded my G35 sedan in at Hoehn Infiniti in Carlsbad, CA. It only has 12k miles on it and is in mint condition...

I had a great time on these forums over the last couple years and learned a lot. Guess ill be hunting around for a some FX forums since the one on this board is kind of dead...

Best of luck to you guys...

My nephew snag my stock rims few years back to put on his Altima... Only thing I have left of the car is the Stock Exhaust, Stock Suspension, stock intake and Inifniti Car Cover.

It seems the G35 sedan has kind of a low resale value, its probably due to Infiniti making so many of them, about 50% of the cars on the lot were new G35 sedans. They had several used 04' G35 sedans on the lot that they were selling for $23k with around 25k miles on them. Didn't help mine was a 6MT either, seems the Automatics are better sellers.

In the end Im happy with the deal tho, been wanting a FX for awhile now, the biggest turn off for me was they had seats similar to the G35 sedan with the controls on top of the seats themselves which causes the metal bracket to push into your leg. With the 06' FX they relocated the seat controls to the side of the seat

I really think it depends where you are. I live in Oregon and G35s are a lot more rare. They are hard to find and there is only 1 infiniti dealership in the whole state.
Congrats on the new car...
but IMHO the FX looks like a retarded baby rhinosaurus, Armada or Q56 for the third row would've been my choice
anyway, to each their own though
