I also had a lot of front brake dust until I upgraded to Project mu B force pads.

Hurry & get the Project Mu pads for $49 on ebay before it's gone. It's the best pads for brake dust/performance upgrade.

Thanks, Will do.

I have put about 300 miles on the car and so far it doesnt have much brake dust at all. The 2006's have the 12.3" front rotors and somthing like 12.1" rears. The calipers are even dual piston! They work great.

I need to find some wheel wax but I guess some Zaino might do for now.

You are correct... hmmm.

I dont think I need that really... I think I am happy with the way mine is setup.

That chin spoiler does look great on your car. Maybe later I might get that.

So what are you going to use to plow the snow?

Easy. They're simply not sold here. We get lots of rain, but no snow. I was born and raised in Birmingham, and I only remember about 6 snows ever. I moved away(went to Minneapolis) in 98 and returned in the winter of 2000. Since my return, we've had maybe three flurries, but zero accumulation.

Same thing with the audis and bimmers. The 3 series x's aren't sold here(maybe a few a year), and the audi quattors just aren't in demand.

Same thing goes for TX. None of the dealerships I visited in DFW had any X's on the lot. It just isn't called for with the exception of maybe one day out of each year (and around here everything shuts down if there is snow/ice).

Congratultions, car looks great, you will enjoy it. The chrome wheels are not my cup of tea but they have choices for a reason (because as you stated everyone has different tastes). If you like them then that's all that matters. I do have to say that everytime I see an IP sedan the color grows on me more and more.

ABSOLUTELY MAN...if everyone like the same car & same type of woman, this world would be boring & there'd be a lot of single people.

Trey, I'm sure you're right, but don't agree with not selling X's out of the snowbelt. If you've ever driven an X in the rain, it would be very apparent that rain is where the X shines as much as the snow. Power through a wet turn in a RWD G, and be prepared for heavy electronic intervention. An X just goes. It's hard to understand how much safer the X feels until you play with one. The mags commented on this long ago, so it's not just me.

Congrats on your purchase. I hope you enjoy yours as much as I enjoy mine.
I've got an '06 G35 sedan.

I bought from this guy: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Ameri...spagenameZWDVW

I find it is working quite well... the wheels seem to stay a lot cleaner between washes.

The point is, I would go with the new model.

40+ horespower difference, plus a major weight difference which cancesl out any horsepower difference in my book. Are the 03's any slower at the track than the 06's? I didn't think so. If you think that 07 isn't going weigh over 3500lbs, you are fooling yourself.

My 05 was faster than my wife's 04 by 4mph in both the 1/8th and 1/4 traps. We both had a ztube and filter, and I had cats. Both on the same tires. Sure, she's an auto, but 4mph is not an insignificant difference.

I've never driven an AWD vehicle(except for maybe a true 4wd Jeep here and there). I'm sure it would be nice. As for the electro-nannies, I regularly overpower my rears in the rain without any complaint whatsoever. Kinda disturbing actually.
