One year review
My G35 is a year old this week and I've logged 13,000 wonderful miles so far. The feeling I get when I turn the key still quickens the heart a bit and makes even the drive to work enjoyable. No issues so far except a rattle in the rear window that I hope to have fixed on my next visit.
I still remember playing email tag with Passport Infiniti as I located the car I wanted, a base sedan in Black/Wheat with a sunroof. Needless to say it was tough sleeping that evening knowing MY new G35 was waiting for me at the dealership. After a long 90 minute trip to Northern Virginia I arrived at the dealer...about 30 minutes before they opened. As I paced the lot looking at the new G35s in different color combinations I wondered if I'd made the right choice. Finally a salesman pulled in the lot and a few hours later I walked out to see my shiney new Black G35 waiting for me it didn't take long for me to realize I loved the look of the G35 in Black. As I admired the cars "attitude" I opened the door and sat in the drivers seat. A deep breath rewarded me with endless "new car smell" and I was in heaven. Pulling out of the lot I could feel how the VQ was begging to stretch it's legs, but somehow managed to "behave" for 1200 miles. Needless to say, I made a few trips into the garage that evening to check on my new baby.
Fast forward 12 months and the only changes I've made to my G are a set of clear corners and 35% tint. I enjoy checking out the other cars on this site (Vodka and others) and the amount of help I've received the over the past year. Hope the rest of you are as happy as I am....the G35 is a great car.
