whenever i look at pictures of before and after a drop it seems like its such a big difference, but then i notice this huge gap in the before drop pics

My car doesnt have that big of a gap, its actually not too bad at all and i havent dropped it

Gap doesn't look that bad until you put some wheels and low pro tires on it.

have fun with those springs.

You have now converted your car into a massive oversteer machine!!!

Trust me, I already went the 350Z H-tech route.

The problem is that the rear springs are both too low and too high a spring rate. They totally throw off the the great dynamics of the car.

In the meantime, I put the stock sport springs back into my sedan. The car handles so much better than with the 350Z H-tech rear springs.

Tomorrow, I will have a pair of G35 H-tech rears to put in. I'll report back on how they are in comparison.

Is that an X or rwd G? Those are the stock 17's, not the coupe 18's right?

its an X , thats why it sits sooO high , when stock.it does oversteer a little, but i llike it. if i put my sways to a lower setting it should oversteer less. but then the rotaries i go around coming home from work, wont be as much fun.

mine tends to oversteer a bit in stock form. I like it. Definately fun.

I hope the springs work better for you than they did for me. It was very easy to get "snap" oversteer.

I like to hang the tail out sometimes, but when I plan on doing it. What I experienced was what seemed like decent handling (lower limits though) and then "Woooaaahhhhh!!!!!" - I would be crazy sideways!!!

it does get a lil squerley around tight turns. the ride is a bit stiffer then before but not bouncey or rough. havent tried any steep driveways or speedbumps yet .tomarrow the weather will be better, so i will be able to test how the car handles. hope to get a pair of 350z rear shocks from a vender, that should give the rears a little bit more dampen'n. it seems like everyone sells only as a set. anyone know where they sell dspec or bilstein shocks for just for the rear?

I just got the G35 H-tech for the rears. I'll probably install them tonight.

They look to be a 1/2 coil turn longer than the 350Z h-techs.

It should be interesting to see how it handles.

350Z h-techs up front / G35 H-techs in rear

I ran those springs too, never ever did they remotely induce oversteer.

What are your alignment specs? Tire wear and psi? Oem sway bar's or aftermarket? What is your right foot doing when the tail is coming out?

I'm running stock sport springs with 350z H-tech, I have only noticed better handling since added the springs. Are you running regular G shocks or the sport shocks?

What would be the noticable difference b/w the g and z htech. Can you get alignment into spec with the z htech without camber kit?? I am trying to decide which route to go
