Look, if you live in the CA desert, then I agree that the X would have little benefit. But most of us live with or near water with a fair amount of rain.

What you're still not "understanding" is simply that the statement about the X being only for snow is rediculous. That's all. That, is in fact, a misconception.

I live less than 20 miles from an ocean! Lost of water, little rain! Many of us do not live where rain is in abundance. And Re-Read the post you keep referring to CAREFULLY! It does not state anything about "only for SNOW"!

Get your facts straight before stating "misconception". Inclement weather includes rain, ice, snow, etc... and if you take the time to determine the ratio of X's in that type of climate vs fair weather climate (with little or no rain, ice, snow, etc) you will find it's predominately inclement weather states.

That's all. That is in fact no "misconception".

Wow, you're an angry fellow. And I would be too if I lived in a desert, never to see rain. Rain brings lush greens and rainbows...You might want to consider moving some day to where rain happens. The Chesapeake Bay is gorgeous.......

Whatever, dude. The lesson learned here is......just say no to CA desert. Lack of rain makes people irrational (and G35X haters)....

Happy Mothers Day, Olga......

Angry??? No. Just because I have to reiterate and explains things in a way a child would understand doesn’t make me angry. Frustrated maybe, but angry – no. Why would I waste an emotion like that in a place like this?

You my friend (figure of speech not literal, clearly), either have A.D.D or are one of those people that aren’t capable of understanding what is said or written... Apparently you like to interpret what you think is meant rather than what is actually said. Every time you post you make it more and more clear.

And yes - I wish more people would "just say no to CA" - we have WAY too many kooks here as it is (the majority are transplants unfortunately).

You know what they say about Cali, "it's like granola, when you take away the fruits and the nuts, all you have left is the flakes"

For some reason every texan I've ever heard say that thinks it's some kind of intellectual statement.

I guess in TX maybe it is.

You need to go back and re-read how rediculous your argument is. If you agree the X is beneficial in inclement weather, and you have defined above inclement weather to include rain and snow, you have very nicely reinforced my argument from the beginning. Thank you.

So to recap, you and two other people in this country are unfortunate enought to live where there is no rain. All the rest of us can benefit from AWD. Glad we brought this to closure.

And yes, you ARE the reason not to move to So CA.

Here was my first statement:
Since you live in WA the AWD will be useful in the winter... otherwise I don’t know why you would want it. - not slamming the X, I just don’t see a benefit in fair weather states.

Here was your response:

This is the biggest misconception out there. As Shredx states above, the X is far superior in the rain. You have to drive one in it to understand. There are not too many states that are free from rain.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------
You further went on to stomp your feet about snow. Why? I have no idea… Your own post indicated rain is a primary reason for this car. H-E-L-L-O… it rains like crazy in WA in the winter.

Now Einstein, please explain how any of my post regarding “the X being a fit car for inclement weather but not worth it in fair weather states” is ridiculous (as you stated it). And as far as you claiming my input is an “argument”… you are a very ill adjusted individual… the guy asked for opinions. You are only one wanting to “argue”.

Now to keep with your ADD – I’m sure you will figure out a way to continue to not get it.

BTW - as long as you stay out of CA I'm happy to take credit for it.

Read this time and time again. For some people, it clicks the first time. For you, it may take several times. Your statement is the reason, and continues to be, the reason for my comments.

I'll let you have the last say, dude, cause you won't let it rest (or be intelligent enough to do so).

Have a nice day

clearly you felt the need to "have the last say" - I think a re-read of the posts will indicate the "intelligent" factor.

My day is nice now.

Just wanted you to hear this statement one more time. Reflect on what you've posted. Sleep on it. No apologies requested.

You just posted what I re-posted two or three post above... what was the point of that? You are making my point. The X is fine for inclement weather and not worth it in fair weather states. That was my first and only opinion of this. You brought the rest on with your ridiculous attempts to argue the post I made. Even though your argument makes no sense because every time you post you confirm what I said from the beginning

Your A.D.D is getting worse isn’t it?
