don't forget about the weak reformulated gas here in California....that'll get you to lose a couple mpg

I cant believe you guys are getting mileage like that. Up here in WA state, I consistently get 380-410 miles to a tank on my 03.5 5AT with about 70/30 Highway/City. That CA gas must be super-heavy on the ethanol. Dont forget that the state govt. gets its taxes by the gallon so its in their interest for you to buy as much gas as possible. Oh, I forgot, its all about clean air. Uh, right.

My 03 5AT gets 15.5MPG most of the time. I get roughly 220 miles / tank. I get the same in my 98 Accord and my 99 Rodeo - all automatics.

I think this depends on your driving style. I would love to get the mileage that you get, heck I'd even settle for just 350/tank. On highways, I'm usually doing around 80+ unless there is a traffic jam. Local roads with posted 25mph signs I usually do close to 40mph.

I get about 300 miles before the gas light comes on in my 05 sedan. I've got 20s, injen CAI, and some other mods, and I still average around 20mpg. I've seen 25mpg on a trip to LA, with cruise control at 83mph.

Sounds like something might be up. PS, my first tank was a "little" less, but not 12mpg.

Its shocking that some guys are getting this low of mileage in the same car. I have an 03 6mt sedan and Im pissed if I get less than 400 miles per tank. Then again I drive about 95% freeway ( in traffic much of the way) and I shift at about 2k rpm on the streets.

Funny how results vary so much. The auto G is geared much higher than the competition. I really like how the car drives with these gears, cause the power alway seems available. But the bottom line is, this car gets worse gas mileage than many V-8's.

Case and point. I am getting better gas mileage in my new Charger SRT8 (6.1 liter, 425 hp) than I get with the G !!! I'm not kidding.

I do around 230-240 with 1/4 left. I usually fill up when I go thru 15 gals.

Jersey City Suck! Stop and go and sitting mostly. That's where all the gas is wasted.

According to the navi, I get an average of 22.5 mpg per tank... was 28 before I installed the MREV. According to the navi again, I can still average around 28+ mpg while cruising on the freeways at 65 mph though...

BTW - I've been wondering if the 05 navi counts the reserve tank when it tells you how many miles you have left in your tank... anybody know?
