I just noticed today that if I unlock with the FOB my car makes no noise, but when I lock with the fob it honks (i know how to turn the honk on/of). Now if I unlock with the intellikey button thing on the door it makes two beeps and when I lock it using the same button it makes one beep. Is that normal? For some reason I thought it use to make that beep with the foob instead of a honk...

 

Thats how my 06 X works.

Only the orange turn signal lights flash when you unlock with the fob.

 

Thanks for the info, that's one thing less on my mind...now as soon as my sister gives my car back in perfection condition I can be in peace...
