I tried the search function without much luck...

I recently had my 03 serviced and got an 05 loaner and the bose system in the 05 doesn't sound close to mine. Were there issues with the 03's or did they change anything for 2005+ ? i know it's not a great system to begin with, but mine is terrible compared to the 05.

 

The biggest change is the MP3 read capability. Otherwise my 05 is similar to my old 03.5. It does have a little better sound quality...but not much. The satellite radio functions have been added also.

 

Mine must have some issues... it doesn't sound anything like the 05 loaner

 

I think the biggest difference is the '04 and '05 CD players don't jam with 6 discs with the dreaded "CD ERR F0" code.

 

the 06 adds the artist/title read capibilities to the mp3 player.

 

2005 + adds that info Neal, not just 2006.
