Clear bra anyone for the New G35?

Will anyone be putting a clear bra to the G35?

But since the car will be so new...none of the companies will have the clear bra shape ready for our car...will you wait until the bra is available and then buy the car?

That's why there are really top notch installers that can do custom work. Check these guys out if you are interested in more info. They're the best.

My problem with Clear bra is this.

$1500 for a good install Hood Mirrors...etc.
One fender bender and your 1500 is gone because the insurance company does not recognize the clear bra as part of the car. So for about 1000 you could repaint the whole front of the the car in 5 years when its chipped up. Does this make sense to anyone else?

the sooner you do it, the better. WAY worth it.

I had my entire front (less the hood, which was done by the dealer) for about $250 last year, all one piece, My car is one year old now, and the only mark I have is small one that happened before the install. Any 3M shop can do the same, they cut it as they apply it, comes off a roll I believe.

You should contact sam at sales@premiermobilegroup.com

From what I hear, they are down in So Cal once every month to do work for the Porsche, Lambo, and Ferrari crowds,...although I know they do do work for our G's as well. There are other companies doing custom work as well, but there is no one with the credentials and quality of work that I've ever seen on any other cars with the clear bra.

There are companies that stay on top of the new models. I'm getting mine done by an installer in Lodi, CA (Norcal) that uses a CAD machine to cut the right size and shape. I was checking out his machine and software while he installed my tint. They have EVERY make & model available from Astom Martin to Volkswagens. Of course if you an aftermarket bumper or body mods, you'll have to get a custom job. I'm going for a bumper, lights, & mirror covers. Then when I choose a lip down the road, I'll have them cover that before I install it.

Don't wait to get it, it really should be done when a car is in new condition.

you're getting raped if you have to pay $1500. i paid $650 and that was still rather expensive.

Contrary to belief, insurance companies do cover the cost of the clear bra. I was in an accident a while back and my insurance company covered the cost to replace the clear bra for the damaged areas.

Here is how i look at it. Get the Bra from day one and your original paint will be protected. If you dont get it will slowly get chipped up and look like crap. Then 1 year later pay alot of money for an o.k. paintjob at best and in less than a year, watch that paint get chipped up even faster.

Its a no brainer for me.
