'07 G35 Specs and X

Greetings,

I'm looking for a new work vehicle and I'm looking into the redesigned '07 G35 Sedan. Is the target date for the U.S. market still late Oct/early Nov?

Also, any price sheets released yet with prices on options.

Lastly, I need the AWD (especially for winter) for my daily work vehicle as it will replace my '00 E320 4matic. Will the "X" (AWD) be available right away or there is usually a few months wait after the initial launch. How much more(typically) is the AWD system with Infiniti?

TIA!

Regards,
Jeff

Hey Jeff,

From what I am told from my dealer, the 07 is expected to hit the showrooms in early to mid November. As of right now, there has been no pricing released from Infiniti yet. Pricing should be here by mid August. The G35x will be available right from the get go and you can expect approximately about $2k more than the non AWD version. I hope this helps!

I just realized I had a typo in my first response.....I meant to state about $3k difference for the X.

Canuck, you were right the first time, it's about $2k more for the AWD.

I thought it was one or the other for Sport package or AWD. I know they could do both, but that would be weird.

Well, let me rephrase....about $2k in the States and about $3k in Canada.

Yep, I am waiting along side you. It is going to be a painful wait until November, however it will be worth it!

Can't wait until they are here. I have seen some pics I like and some that I don't. I want to be able to sit in one and get a real opinion.

does it sound correct that we loose 2.5 cubic ft of interior volume with the sunroof?

Interior passenger volume (cu. ft.) 99.0 (96.5 w/ sunroof)

The numbers seem correct ( ouch!)

if the inside cabin is say 55 inches x 55 inches then 2,5 cu feet means the sunroof eats up just inder 1.5 inches ( yikes !). Sure enough, elsewhere in the spec it says Head room 40.5 ; Head room with sunroof : 39.1 which is a loss of 1.4 inches.

Is this typical?? ......I cant remember if the demo I drove had one or not.
