I'm more concerned with the inside features which will keep me happy for 4 more years. The fact I'm moving to a AWD with Tech and Navi AND still will have a fun car to drive is enough to get me to switch from the 03 to an 07.

I never thought I would be a repeat (model) buyer BUT there is nothing out there that is like the G with the rear seat room we need.

The one in auto show has the 03-04 Nismo look to it. (2 large sides opening and 1 small center opening) Even the black G show a few posts ahead shows the Nismo look.
Is that distinguish between sport package from non-sport?
Definitely a good catch on the two bumper types, I never noticed it until you mentioned it. I would assume the two bumper types distinguish whether it is a sport model or not, but what I find confusing is that BOTH of these have the chrome lip spoiler. The Sport model comes with a rear spoiler, and if the chrome lip spoiler IS the rear spoiler, why does the non Sport model have one as well. Also, both of these have the sport wheels too.

I will be happy when I know for sure what is the REAL rear spoiler that comes with the sport package.

So the silver one is the "sport" fascia, and the red one is the "non-sport" fascia? If so, I prefer the "non-sport" fascia. It looks a bit meaner and smoother.

I don't think anyone really knows which is the sport front fascia. Both of the above G35s have the sport wheels, chrome lip spoiler, and what looks to be side sills. Your guess is as good as mine.

I am with ya there...I'd be mad if I couldn't get the nose on the silver car (above) on a 6mt.

07G...did you get any kind of approximate price for that order? That's the exact setup I'm looking to get...

Nothing yet. Canuck and I are working with the same dealer. He said pricing should be released shortly. Infiniti Canada wanted the dealership to prepare their first order so we picked that model.
Cheers

P.S. Great choice

[QUOTE=canuck] Also, both of these have the sport wheels too.

I just received a 07 G35 pamphlet within my statement. It has the "sports" style bumper (Nismo style look). But yet, the wheels are the split 5 spokes design! They are similar the the IS350 wheels with rounder spokes. However, it looks to be 17" because the sidewalls look a little thick.

The 17" wheels are 7 spoke, and the 18" wheels on the Sport model are 10 spoke splits. Take a look at the pics below. The first one is what comes on the G35/G35x and the second one comes on the Sport model.
