thats the first picture where I can see 2 piston calipers up front (not including a picture from a car show). Even the "sport" in the other pictures/articles have 1 piston.

Yes the engine bay shot is a joke. Makes you not trust the whole write up.

It sure is!!
I've even seen this expressed on the BMW boards as well.
They apperciate the competition, as well they should

I can't wait to see how Infiniti responds with the new coupe.
For sure it's going to be one sexy beast....... just hope the under the skin improvements are there as well.

Yah, I have no faith that the authors of this article have actually had their hands on an 07 G35. If they had, they would have snapped pictures of it. Their 0-60 time is straight from another magazine, and says "(est)" next to it. If you've tested a car there's no reason to estimate the 0-60 time or show pictures of the old engine bay.

I call BS!

The C&D article claims one piston calipers, but mentions that the car will receive an upgrade in 08 to 4 piston calipers and larger rotors, to put it inline with the 08 coupe.

I've never even heard of "Winding Road" magazine. Crappy article.

Yes Trey I noted that as well. Will they be Infiniti or otherwise branded brakes?

AS I finished reading it and looking at the est. stuff the same thoughts occured to me. There is certainly plagerism that takes place in publishing especially in smaller products with fewer resources $$.

Exactly. That's interesting to see on the BMW boards.

I'm hoping for the same thing in the coupe. If it is I could be persuaded to move in a few years.

Ditto on the incorrect engine pic. When I saw the picture of the wrong engine, I just closed the article and stopped reading. I'm tired of reading pro-BMW articles, especially when they can't even take the time to review their content for basic accuracy.

Btw, anybody else think the new rims are terrible? I generally don't like aftermarket rims, but I think I'd have to consider it in this case.

I really wish those upgraded brakes would be available on the '07 Sedan but I won't be able to wait until '08.

Winding Road is pretty well respected for a free online publication; I highly doubt they just copy and pasted someone else's article.

I skimmed over the scanned article and I did not see where this is mentioned - did I miss it or was this info included in the actual C&D publication...? If so please point this info out.

Ok, here is the 2nd last page using the posted sequence that you indicated, 2nd paragraph. I see a reference made to the brakes later in the article [in red] but not about an '08 upgrade. I must be misunderstanding where this is referenced.
