Thanks in advance.

filanj, I think you misunderstood the OP's question. I think he is asking if the keyfob design of the 07 is any different than the previous generation.
Megatron, I don't recall seeing any pictures of the 07 keyfog so I am not sure if it will be any different than the current one.

Hi, stupid question (since I'm new to the infiiniti world). Does the IntelligentKey allow you to simply walk up to your car and it'll unlock -- like a Lexus? Or is it keyless only for the push-button ignition (i.e., you still have you press the unlock button to unlock your doors)?
i heard the '08 opens and starts with telekinesis... jk... not sure... my parents benz unlocks and opens when you walk upto the door and pull the handle.. prob same with similar technologies... No?

The Clifford alarm in my old integra can arm and/or lock itself after 30 seconds. If the I-Key system does lock the doors, can you override it? Because sometimes you do intend to keep the doors unlocked. For my Mazda6, I unlock my car, open and close any door, and the car remains unlocked. If I don't open a door, the car locks itself after a while.
The only way it locks the doors is if you press the unlock, and then don't open a door within a certain amount of time, it relocks automatically. You don't need the fob out to relock, it's the same button as unlock. It's not self arming, at least on the '05-'06.
But let's say I arrive at my destination. I turn the car off, close the door, and simply walk away with the I-Key in my pocket. Will the car lock itself because my I-Key is out of reach?
