Bluetooth Questions

I have a bluetooth Razr and am looking forward to the bluetooth functionality of my new 07 when it arrives. I have a few questions that some of you may be able to answer

* With an incoming call, to answer it would I just have to push the phone button up by the Nav screen or the one on the steering wheel?

* With an incoming call, will I hear it ring through the stereo and will there be caller ID on the screen?

* I am assuming that when you press the phone button, the music automatically mutes....correct?

My 03 obviously doesn't have bluetooth so I am really not sure how this feature really works.

Thanks,

From other cars I've seen, that's the way it'll work .
Not sure about the ring though

Thanks,
Using my RX350/Treo 700p as reference:

1. I can do either-or

2/3. Can be setup to Mute audio system and contact will show up on screen - no "Ring tone" is broadcasted via the Audio System. I can have a voice response broadcast however.

I'm sure someone that has the M w/the Navi package can ascertain as to how Nissan executes this.

Integrated Bluetooth is one of the most convenient features on a car IMO and definitely worth the $$$$.

When I paired my Sony Ericsson K750i with my uncle's Lexus GX, the speakerphone was pathetic. It was fuzzy and choppy. In fact, I wasn't even sure it was full-duplex, because -- like those old school speakerphones at home -- when you're talking, I can't hear the other person at the same time. Maybe it was a poor BT connection?

On my TSX w/NAV and bluetooth:

Call ID shows up on the dash.

Music auto mutes.

Ringing sound through the speakers.

I pick up the call with a button on the steering wheel.

I certainly hope that the G is full duplex. It wouldn't make any sense to me whatsoever if it was only half duplex. Does anyone know if the 06 G35s are full duplex?

That is exactly what I would be looking for.

I hope that Infiniti has the POI phone integration like Toyota/Lexus - meaning that I can select a POI on the touch screen, and it will dial the phone number of the POI if it is available. It also has a phone pad available on the touch screen that was not available previously. Toyota did a fantastic job of upgrading the Navigation and integerting the on-board telematics.

Plus the new High resolution screens are amazing - 800x600 32Bit w/32 bit color graphics. Looks like Infiniti may have done the same if the interior pics are a true representation of the Navi.

Thanks,
My M45 does all of the afformentioned points, so I have to assume the new G will as well.

She's a geeks dream, love all the bells and whistles.

I like the fact that you can have more than 2 people in the car and still have some torque, I hated how weight sucked the life out of the V6 in the G.

My 06 w/bluetooth does all of the functions you mentioned above and it is full duplex. I don't have nav, so I can't comment on the caller ID question though...
