Better stay clear of this dealer for '07 -- most likely they will expect some $$ over MSRP !!!
Yeah, 2k6's sell for below invoice, so it should be very obvious on the 2k7 price. But really, car sales in general, I find deals are very easy to make when one is informed and impartial, and not in a must have status. Get quotes from 6 dealers and let them compete like that commercial on tv--you win. Don't make things up, just get real quotes from edmunds.com and share that info among all the dealerships. It works.

Agreed. There are ten Infiniti dealerships within 30 miles of my location.

You are lucky that you have so many close to you that you can negotiate with. My closest dealer is a 4 hour drive away with the second closest being an 8 hour drive away. It makes it alot harder to dicker on price when you only have one dearership for all of the east coast of Canada.

Once I did that, I realized that maybe I could cut out unnecessary things like active steering, iDrive, rear sunshade, etc., and stick to the major packages like sport, premium, cold weather, comfort access. With that I was under 45 not incl. tax and tags. I tell you when I sat in a showroom car today on my return trip to the dealer, I don't think the glow is going to wear off. I'm giving you a real number, the car with the above was 44,7xx. More than I wanted to spend, true.....

The other thing I found interesting is that on the BMW order system, my name and the saleswoman's name are on the order. It doesn't sound like Infiniti does that.
I guess you got the manual trans then. If I were of a more sporting nature in my middle age, (beginning-middle that is,) I would have gotten a stick and maybe would have swung for the 335i. But a car for me these days is more a mobile office, and I want auto trans, GPS, (yea, I know I could buy a tom tom, but I'm spoiled with built-ingps now,) and I don't want the sport suspension. The sport suspension is standard on the 335i. I think the 335 sedan will make x-drive and the softer suspension available, but I really don't like the looks of the sedan.
