Thanks.

I said ahead of time that I'll try to take shots from different angels that haven't been featured before. I mean, we all know what the car looks like. I tried to concentrate on features that haven't been explored.

The aluminum is very unique. Simply because it has that brush look to it - not something you see everyday. Very classy and upscale. I personally would go for it. I'm not feeling that matted African rosewood trim. I think I prefer glossy woods better. But overall I think that a sporty car like that deserves a metallic finish rather than wood.
Thanks Daniel, I am glad to hear you liked the aluminum trim. I was a little apprehensive about the aluminum trim when I first ordered it, but am warming up to it more and more all the time.

So my next question is................................ when are you buying one????

But did you, you know, actually like the car? I can't tell.

On my test drіve yesterday the salesguy had me drive down 99 to the next exit (maybe two miles) and then I drove back to the dealershіp on the narrow two-lane freeway frontage road. About half way back this big construction-type trцck comes barreling by and as it passes, I hear this loud "THWACK" - obviously gravel from the trцck. I cringed but I didn't see any windshіeld damage - I didn't check the rest of the car because I was afraid what I might find although, of course, it wouldn't be my responsibility. Hope that wasn't the end of the dealership's informal test drіve program.

Shane, the aluminum is what you want on a sporty car. I know you have wood now but IMHO, aluminum is nicer and doesn't have that luxo barge look.

I look forward to seeing it in person but the washi texture seems to have a richness and is certainly distinctive.

I agree 100%, the aluminum trim is def. a lot more sportier. Leave the wood finish to the Journey and X models.

Can't wait to see this bad boy and get my order in for a 6MT.

Soon enough my friend, soon enough...

I'm shopping for a car for the wife as well. I would like something with enough cargo space like a small to mid size SUV. Since there is no way in hell I'll be driving an SUV, it will have to be hers. If I had to guess, I'll be getting the 07 sedan around January of 2007.

Yeah, before we left for the drive he told me that there is basically no coverage for this car. At that moment I was very hesitant about taking if for a spin. That hesitation lasted only a second though...

You mean "wasabi" texture...

That is one "HOT" finish...

Pun intended...

Good stuff, January isn't all that far off at all. Too bad the Nissan X-Trail isn't available in the US, that would make for a nice little SUV for your wife. That would definitely be my choice of SUVs in that segment.

Yeah, the new Washi Aluminum trim looks amazing. It doesn't look like a cheap painted plastic. I was definitely impressed when seeing it in person. I agree with the other posters- you definitely want the aluminum trim on the sport model.

I had doubts about the aluminum trim, but after seeing it in person it’s incredibly nice. Now I can't decide if I should go with the African Rosewood trim or the aluminum trim. Speedoholic, did the 2007 Infiniti G35 you drove have some alignment issues? The two that I drove had fairly large gaps with the doors closed where the door aluminum trim meets the dash aluminum trim.
