And sorry about the audio that keeps going in and out. The author said his machine had codec problems when he was encoding the video.

Yes, I thought the tranny was ***. And I thought the acceleration was lacking. But I'm not a good judge of that; after all, I thought my car fealt faster than my buddy's wife's 06 mustang gt. Turns out, my car is a bit faster, but marginally. So maybe this car is actually pretty quick.

 

It appears to be a strong improvement but based on your test drive it didn't seem to offer the same "connection" I found in the BMW 3 series when I test drove it... Also, I agree... that salesman is REALLY annoying argh!

Hey Lakeshore Slate is a fantastic color, people compliment our 05 all the time. It really changes with different lighting.
If we get the 07, I am really torn whether to get the Lakeshore Slate again or go to my next favourite color diamond graphite (patinum Graphite) just for the change.

 

Surprised nobody has mentioned it, but I wouldn't be surprised that it didn't feel that much faster considering all the mods to your current ride... would have been interesting to run it side-by-side to your current car and mods.

Just sayin'...

Yeah, my cousin and his friends couldn't stop laughing at me for choosing this color. They think it's too gay, but I beg to differ. It takes a real man to wear pink or purple. But of course, I'd never buy a pink or purple G35. LOL

 

The reason I'm looking at it is 'cause I'm sold on the wheat interior & rosewood and unfortunately it's only available on certain colors. I'd really like to get the Blue Slate but they don't do wheat. I'm willing to go Stone, but then w/ Stone, I can't get the rosewood, so I lose it all.

I've seen some lakeshore slate G35s on the street, but I never paid much attention...but now I'll be on the lookout.
