Transferring Music Files
Transferring Music Files
Ok, so here's a rather interesting question. I have all my music stored on my bluetooth-capable laptop. Since the new G has bluetooth, does that mean I can use bluetooth to transfer all my music to the music box rather than loading it to a CF card or burning a million CD's?

Bluetooth has the concept of "profiles" -- 2 devices need to operate on the same "profile" to "talk" to each other.
From all I've read, the bluetooth in the G is more or less for handsfree communication & some interfacing with a phone -- which is very different from p2p networking w/ a laptop.
Your best bet is to use a large capacity CF card (4gb should be fine) - remember the internal HD has only a little over 9gb space available. (which is only <15 CDs - use a CD-RW !!)
