I noticed that Deane. We'll have to get a shot like that when I pick mine up!

Btw Goofy, since you've seen the Garnet Ember in person, how does it compare to the pictures? Do you find that the pictures do the color justice? Does it look better in person?

The very first pic in this thread has a much deeper, richer, sexier, almost sulty redbecause it's indoors, perhaps. But in general, all the pics we've seen are pretty accurate. And under the right lighting, maybe even the first pic is dead on. It was sunny in Oakland, and the red was bright but not glaring. Nor was it orangey or that young, immature sporty red -- if you know what I mean. I thought that there would be too much red with all that sheet metal, but boy was it hot. There is enough chrome and black from the tires -- not to mention the wheat interior -- that complement the red.

My photos are the ones that don't do it justice, because they're a bit underexposed. Just think of it as me taking pics of the car at night, because I'm sure that color will be sooooo sexy in the dark with faint, city/street lights shining on it.

I noticed that as well Wayne. I don't mind the looks of them and I think I might get some for mine due to the winters here.

Thanks Goofy, I think I will be very happy with this color.

What really sucks is that I was probably one of the first to order my G (over three months ago), but now I think I am one of the last to see it in person.

Patience, Canuck! It'll pay off. Maybe you'll have more bargaining power when it arrives, if you didn't already commit to a final price already.

The splash guards are a nice touch. Just like the current models. I've already ordered mine with it.

Yeah, thank god I do have patience because I would be much more anxious/impatient than I already am.

Just go in from Pennsylvania; WOW things have been hopping

Hey Shane if you can find any pix of those wheels on a car in decent resolution....
I can make it a little nicer by getting rid of the black background.
The black darkens the overall look.

Also, wasn't sure what colour you were thinking of.

Here are two pics Ian. One is just a single wheel I found on the net and the other one is from a fellow member's G.

Any others of the G with a little less angle?

Ian the rest of the pictures of the G with this wheel are on this link. Might be a shot you can use there.
