It'll be less than that.
You can't just do a straight $ conversion

You can't guess what US pricing will be based on CDN pricing. My car will not cost $44k in the states, it will be cheaper than that.

Do the Canadian prices include GST, or is that added by the deаler?

Announcing the USD prices before the car officialy goes on sale would satisfy my idle curiousity, but I can't think of a good business reason for the company to announce the prices before then. It's better to get people interested and then hit them with the bad news (assuming that '07 prices are substantially higher than '06) than it is to give them the bad news before they can get interested.

I have a pretty good idea where the US '07 sedаn prices will be posted, whenever Nissаn decides to post them. On Nissannews.com - http://www.nissannews.com/ - the "2007 G35 Sedаn" link is broken, as are the "G35 Sedаn" links - http://nissannews.com/infiniti/2007v...35/index.shtml - in the adjacent "10 Questions With ..." article. I'm guessing that Nissаn has the technical competence to avoid unintentional broken links, and that the links won't be broken for much longer.

Good point. The 2007 coupе pricing press release is at "http://nissannews.com/infiniti/news/pricing/20061020123658.shtml", which is closer to your surmise than to mine. Still puzzled about the broken links, though. Web management vendors have automated tоols to avoid just that sort of thing.

^^^ Poor QA. Maybe they can hire us and we'd get a much better VPP discount.

This is just a thought, but I cant really see Infiniti wanting to make the Sedan MORE then the 07 Coupes. I know its an upgraded model and all, but it just doesn't seem likely to me if they want to start this version of the sedan off with a bang. like I said just a thought. I guess we'll see...but has there ever even been a certain vehicle where the sedan (w/ same options) version costs MORE then the coupe? ANYONE?

Also...maybe we should evaluate the Canadian price for the coupe and compare it to the US price, get a percentage of difference, then apply the rule the sedan (some1 please do this)

+1% from old sedan MSRP. Of course with more options, fully loaded will be a decent amount more.

In my province, I pay HST which is a 14% tax on top of the vehicle price.

I agree with you regarding why Infiniti USA may be withholding pricing information. That would make sense to get everyone interested and excited about the new G35, and then slap them with the price. But the pricing is hardly going to a shock to the system, especially considering all the features added over last years model. My 07 is about $1700 CDN more expensive then a comparably equipped 06, and I think that is a steal with all the new upgrades.
