spec'd comparable to my car, ~40k MSRP, $36700 invoice. $39k + tax is probably the best negotiable deal at this point...

very competitive, but i'm not willing to part with my '06 at this point

Hmmm .... probably not ...
Looking at the pricing sheet, Navigation system is not available with the standalone XM/Sirius option ....
You get XM with Nav - you can't get Sirius.

You can only get Sirius as a standalone option if you don't get Nav.

Yeah, you're right. I can barely read the fuzzy .jpg of the pricing sheet. So, people who want Navigation (or the Technology package that requires Navigation) will have to do without Howard. So sad (snicker).

ADDENDUM: The other forum (RecentCombinedMetal) has a link to the pricing sheet in high-resolution .jpg as well as low-resolution. The fine-print footnotes are much easier to read on the high-resolution version, even when scaled down for printing.

The 2007 Journey Premium is $900 less than the 2006. Just got a truckload in today.

Ok, I initially flipped-out when I saw someone say 41k for the G35S 6MT, then I saw someone say the BMW doesn't have HIDs and sunroof or leather.

Let's set the record straight--list price to list price, the G35S 6MT is about 8,700 less than a 335, similarly equipped. That is where it should be imho. That does mean that the Infiniti provides value. If the G35 is being sold at list, well, the BMW is not, and so that gap would be around 7k. Still significant.

For the record, the 335 has HIDs and sunroof standard. Is it worth 8k more (assuming 1700 off on the BMW and 1000 off on the G35) for the BMW? Common sense says no, some of that premium is for performance, some is for the intangibles. I paid it, and I'm glad I lost my head and I'll be even more glad in Dec. You wont be able to wipe the smile off my face.

But I'm also glad there is inherent value in what you get and what you pay for in the G35. I would also factor in some extra depreciation after year 1 on the Infiniti but let's face it, the price is not comparable to a 335. Maybe a 328, but there the motors aren't that close in HP.

Splash guards help to prevent/limit the tire from kicking up water/dirt/snow/gravel/mud, etc. to the body of the car. It's like those big black rubber things you seen hanging behind the tires on a tractor-trailer...except made nice & pretty for the consumer.

Here's the full-size pricing sheet:

It's a personal preference. Some people don't like what it does to the look of the car, but I personally don't mind it. I like what it does during rain and snow so I don't have lines of dirt shooting up the side of my car, so I have them on my current Civic and plan to get them on the G35 (unless they're really ugly, but I doubt it, especially since they're body colored).
