The coupe offset is 30mm (I believe), and sedan up to and including 06 is 45mm. I have not seen anywhere what the offset is for the 07 sedan (it is probably 45mm or could even be up to 50mm as the M45 19s are).
So either way the coupe wheels will stick out further than the 07 sedan wheels.
Some people are running the coupe 18s on their sedans so I would think you should be okay with coupe 17s. IMO.
Maybe someone that has picked up their 07 sedan can look in their manual to see what the offset is.

Wayne, have you used the Blizzak WS-50s before? How is the tread wear? I want to get the best possible traction on ice and from the reviews I have read every one suggests the WS-50s, but I don't want to be replacing them every 2 years.

That was my concern when I bought my first Blizzaks a couple of years ago Christian. I used the WS-50 for 2 winters on my 05 X. When I was selling them this year I took them to the dealers and had them assessed for remaining tread. They checked them and they still had 90-95% tread left . I was impressed, so because the ice and snow traction was so awesome with them I decided to get the 225/55R17 Blizzaks to put on my stock rims on the new G.
They are on now I am waiting for the snow

I have the 05/06 18" sedan Sport rims right now, but I am selling them because I have my eye on another set of 18"ers which I will run 245/45R18 summer tires all around.

since tirerack wouldn't sell me rims (I called and the sales guy said he can't sell me anything since there's no info in their computers) i went to discount tire and bought 4 ugly 17" x-wheels rims.

And went with 225/55/17 Pilot Alpin 2.

The rims just cleared the brake calipers . They use universal bolt patterns, so the "pin" on the front didn't need to be removed.

So far so good, but we no snow on the ground here in the twin cities, MN. Pretty crazy considering it's the middle of december.

I wasn't going to get winter's because the stockers were working pretty awesome. But since we will get different rims for summer we figured we might as well put winters on our stock rims. So we picked up some Toyo Garit KX performance winters. I think they are new for this year. I have to wait for another dump of snow now because most of ours has been murdered by the sun over than last week. Anyone tried these tires before?

Hey caveman666. Do you anybody in the Greater Vancouver Area who has 07 G35 Sport still running on their summer tires at this time of the year? Just want to know how it handles in winter season but without any snow on the ground.

No sorry I don't. I don't think it would be too bad. You don't really get snow. There are plenty of cars down there RWD without winters on. I know because everytime Vancouver does get some snow we watch the news and laugh at all the news footage of cars slippin all over the place. When's your car coming?

I'm getting the Garit KXs installed on Saturday afternoon, I've heard the last model Garits were good and that these are even better.

Mike, I don't know I'm qualified enough to comment on winters for these cars having no experience with them personally. The seems to be a fair bit of satisfaction with the Blizzak WS-50. There are also some people buying the Hankooks, and a few others that I can't remember now. If you post in the Canada forum you'll get a number of opinions from guys having different ones.

The Blizzaks are well known to have a soft compound very good in icy/lower snow conditions like we get a lot of. We liked the Alpins which were a similiar compound although that is going back 7 years ago so things may be different now. They were incredible traction and in the wet too.

I've heard that but Wayne(GEE35X) post above indicates he's been happy with his over 2 seasons.
