1st gen, 2nd gen G35

I can't help but think of how good my '03.5 has been. Uniquely styled (looks like no other car on the road), extremely reliable, quick, balanced, handles, roomy, and good-looking. The horsepower set a new watermark for the class to follow. Right out of the gates it beat the BMW 3's in most testing categories, no other vehicle has done that to my knowledge.

Soon she'll be out of my garage, replaced by a 2nd gen. I hope this car finds a place in auto history one day for it's trend setting engineering and unparalled value for a 1st gen vehicle. what do you guys think?

+2, I have wondered that myself from time to time. I've wondered if my 03 G35 will be a collectors car some day and if it's value will start to appreciate sometime down the road.

If Infiniti keeps improving the G model, as shown in this 2nd generation G35, a place in auto history for the 1st generation will be there.

It has already found a place in automotive history. It has been a class leading car that brought Infiniti out of the doldrums.

Is it going to be remembered something like the Mustang? No, sales volume and history are not the same.
