What do they mean by the BT comment? Because when I paired my K750i with the BT, I was able to make/accept calls just fine using the touchscreen.
The model that they tested didn't have navigation and therefore it didn't have the touch screen, leaving them only the infiniti controler and voice activation for control.

CNET? Why are they reviewing cars? They should stick with reviewing stuff like iPods. LOL

As the car gets broken in, the mileage should get a little better.

I average 21 mpg in my '04 Coupe 6MT with a mix of freeway and city driving.

Totally understandable: the voice nav control, radio preset, bluetooth operation and automatic recording of CDs to the hard drive are frustatingly impossible to figure out in the first 15 minutes.

After a day and half of ownership and a bit of exploration that stuff all just works and I am looking for what else there is to do before I give up and start waxing it.

I didn't realize the LCD screen itself is not a touch screen if you don't get the Nav. Weird.

Funny you should say that Shane as I'd be leaving my Civic for the G35. Gonna be interesting to see how I cope possibly paying more than twice what I currently pay for gas (combination of worse mileage w/ more expensive fuel). It's been nice hitting up the gas station once every 2 weeks...

LOL, it might be a shock at first...I mean who wouldn't want only to be at the gas station once in two weeks. However, in the long run you won't regret it

In today's market, there are a handful of 300+ HP cars that can get at least 20 MPG+ during aggressive driving. What's the big deal about MPG...? It demonstrates the overall design of the drive train. It's certainly not very hard to increase HP while decreasing the efficiency of the drive train [using more gas]. However, it’s much more difficult to increase HP and increase efficiency: BMW/Lexus/Acura to name a few offerings.

No-one's asking for Toyota **** MPG, but getting a mean of 20 MPG during mixed driving in today’s' market is something that should be expected especially at $40K. Yes it may be classified as a “sport car” but it’s certainly not a Porsche, where I could see the argument against MPG. Perhaps 16 MPG was incorrectly obtained – but it's close to what I'm getting currently.

Although it does get great MPG sitting in the driveway for the last 6 weeks

I don't know I guess they never actually used one in the G35. I used mine today flawlessly, via the voice command AND the NAVI screen. I give CNET two thumbs down. They have no idea what theyre talking about
