I guess the solution to the stroller not fitting in the G problem and the lack of training is that I could push both kids to daycare in the stroller(It is about 2.5 miles from my house), then run the rest of the way to work(another 3 miles). Then I wouldn’t get to drive the G but boy would I be in good shape and I would definitely miss a bunch of traffic!

Wow, you've lots of potential.
I'm a bit quicker than that but without a stroller.
It takes me 50- 75 miles per week to do that.
That's a good solution for getting some more miles in. bump it up to 40 miles per week and you'll cut 90+ seconds off that 5km.
