Wheel Specs 07 Sedan

Just looked up the specs for offsets for the new sedan in the owners manual. The 18" sport rear is the same offset as the M45 19"ers

Sport wheels
-Front 18" x 7.5" with 45mm offset (225/50R18, summer only, W-speed rated)
-Rear 18" x 8.5" with 50mm offset (245/45R18, summer only, W-speed rated)

Base Wheels
Front and Rear- 17" x 7.5" with 45mm offset (225/55R17, All season, V-speed rated)

Does anyone know what tires are on the "base wheels"? I know they are all- season but I want to look up the ratings of whatever is on there.

Yikes! It looks like I should expect to have less traction than i have with my curent tires.. I feel unstopable with my BFG Traction T/A's

Has anyone else found a tire that they loved?

Mine are coming off and winters going on the stock rims. The RS-As will be collecting dust in storage for a few years.

After having PS2's on my M5, I won't run anything else... I think I'm going 20's - 20x8.5 front, 9.5 rear (around +40 offset all the way around) with 245/35 front and 275/30 rear tires... someone needs to call Mackin and see what they are recommending as far as aftermarket wheel sizes are concerned...

well, it if is 06 or earlier sedan, i'd say that for those wheel/tire sizes you would need to run +43 front and +45 rear offset. on 07 - i dunno.
