What do you think the chances would be that he would do it? Slim or none?

Prolly slim since it's likely the distance thing. However he did say to me that in a month or more he would have it home and I could take it for a day or two if I wanted. You'll have yours by then though.

Not as impressed as others

Saw, & did not drive the 07 at a dealer. I had an 03 & now 05X & I have to say if you are not a G junkie you would have a hard time picking out that they are different unless they were sitting side by side. I am going to buy one but it is because of the HP + & the stereo & dual exhaust but when I was trying to find the 07 on the lot the 03 - 06 were really close & I only because I knew the changes could I pick it up.

Ask any layman & they would look at it & not be able to tell the difference with a quick look.

My $0.02 worth....

You're probably right. The idea was to keep the G very recognizable as a G. Much like the 3 series. However, I think this model year is definitely (visually) more muscular, sporty, lower, and wider (IHMO). Maybe I see the difference because I'm a G junkie.

I needed one after seeing that BO today, I have to abstain! You're right Shane, I have been so busy with the other stuff, I haven't even swung by the dealer to look!

Well, I have to admit, at first glance I didn't see it was an '07, and I think I'm good at spotting cars, but it was just first glance, once I saw the headlights, I knew.........

You bet I will, I'm counting down myself here, I have 24 days until the move!

I saw my first 07 in S. Sand. Probably my least fav color, but it still looked damn good.

I agree. My cousin and I mocked the color from the start, until we saw it in person after having seen all the other colors. It wasn't as old or nasty as we thought. Still, we wouldn't get it, obviously.

I'm staring at three now as I sit in the waiting room at my dealer (gotta love the free WiFi). Now I just need to fight the temptation to talk to a salesman.
