That being said, a couple of years ago my dad visited the plant where they built the VW Taureg with the W10 engine, they sell for about 550,000RNB and they can't make enough to meet demand for the chinese. Their economy is growing at an alarming rate.

Again I am now on my 2nd G & will go into my third. Cost in Canadian $ for the X about $52,000 depending on options.
I really wanted to try a different car such as the IS, MB 350, or BMW 335 but the 335 does not have AWD, & the only AWD in the Lexus is the 250 & the HP's suck, & MB's are tooo expensive. Obviously I want an AWD which limits my selection, but for the times we get snow I need it.
Maybe I have to consider the A4, or Saab, but not excited with power or look of these.
I also like doing some of my own work on my cars like brakes, fluids etc & the japanese are easy to do, plus you can take it to a Nissan dealer unlike MB, BMW or Audi?
Anyone interested in 05 X with clear bra, factory color coded splash guards, aftermarket summers & rims?

LOL, you just happen to be an easy target
If you hadn't been waiting for your 07 for soooooo long, I don't think you would have beared the brunt of my smart***, lame jokes
However, you will have the last laugh as you will be in a new gen G before I will.

I am new to the G, but long-time Nissan owner/fan
My wife and I have a '95 240SX w/ 170k miles and a '97 Max w/ 102k miles. Both have been trouble-free, except for 1 starter. In fact, the 240SX has had nothing but oil changes and 1 set of replacement spark plugs in that whole time.
I've always loved the look/sound of the G35 and ordered a 2007 last weekend after a 5-minute test drive. Although it is very subjective, I think the exterior styling is very classy, the interior much improved over the previous gen, and the exhaust note is intoxicating. I didn't really seriously consider any other vehicles...
I was not sold on the 3-series price/styling, plus the rear seat was tiny.
The IS350 was simply claustrophobic and sterile.
Three letters killed the TL..."FWD".
