Yes, it is available on all models if you get the premium package.

Unlike in pics, live the chrome lip works with Platinum Graphite perfectly - clearly the designers managed to take away the massiveness with all the detail in the rear-- a Bimmer design trick (like the side window treatment) but done even better.

This car is soooo much fun to get to know.
I agree with the chrome lip. I was totally against the chrome lip prior to seeing the car in person. Once I saw the car in person the chrome lip actually looks pretty good with most of the colors.

I agree, the chrome lip does look better in person that I thought that it would from looking at pictures. There is one thing that I still don't like about the chrome, finger prints. The 2 Gs in the showroom in Calgary were completely covered with prints.

Eventually I found and took the the time to do the voice training tutorial and have stopped cursing at it- its not rewarding as it doesnt understand and just hits you back with a random State, street or tel no til you have to pull over to stop laughing.

Best, today with a few miles on, I found a back country road, dropped the windows and got on it some. There is another car in there with a new sound and more cornering and straightline performance than is obvious from a car so comfotable and refined in normal dirving.
Thanks chuckg35 I have played with the Nav a bit so much better over the old one. By the way how did you activate your XM we are suppose to get for 3 months?

One thing I hadn't noticed before is the dimple in the lower part of the rear quarters. The more I stand and look at this car the more lines you see. Gives the car even more character.

Congrats! And glad to see that they didn't drill any holes for the front plate. In California, it's law, but you can talk your dealership into not doing it if they like you.

My birthdate is 08/06 so I guess I'm older. Which is cool because "my" birthday is Aug also.

I agree Wayne, I was surprised at how it looked.
When the sport spoiler is added, is the only time it looks a little out of place to me.

I also wonder how it would look in more of a satin finish....

Might look good since it wouldn't show the fingerprints as easily.

You are in a early production vehicle indeed! BTW I took my date as Sept. 6th, never thought of Sept. 2006. I must look again.
