Precision Phased Audio?

Precision Phased Audio?
Noticed on pg. 4-14 of owners manual it shows an audio option
"Precision Phased Audio (If so equiped)
Says "When this item is turned to ON, super high pitch sound and super low
pitch sound are emphasized and midrange sound is played naturally."
This would seem to be just what the audio system needs... but my G does not have this option?
Anyone know what this is? I'm guessing it's something on available on the
non-prem package without the Bose audio system?
