Winter Floor Mats

Has anyone tried their winter rubber floor mats from their 1st Gen sedan into the 07. If so are they the same or are new ones required.

Dealer said they were different and won't be in parts for another month - a lot of snow will fall around here in a month! I wonder if weathertech has any for the 07?

Wayne, I'm sure they're different, especially on the passenger side.
The floor is flatter there now.

I wouldn't be surprised if the new ones are scarce at first.

FWIW...
Your old ones may fit sufficiently until new ones are available

I'm getting the 2007 G35 all-season floor mats for free. They're different and my dealer said that they'll be available soon.

Wayne, they were even different between the '04 and '05, so I'm betting with the new interior, they will be a lot different. If it were me, I'd be buying new ones anyway!

This may be a dumb question, but do the all-season floor mats go over the carpeted floor mats or do the all-season floor mats replace the carpeted floor mats?

They replace the regular carpeted mats. They claim it is unsafe to stack them since it could jamb with your pedals.
Hey Slick, I thought your purchase was on the back burner now, are you going through with it now?

GEE35X, my dealer said that the deal they gave me will be on the table until I'm ready (be it now or a month from now).

Wayne, I'm sure they will be different. Even the fixed floor mount gas pedal may make a difference.

+1....I'm sure they will be.....It took a year for new mats to arrive for my new M....

Hopefully they won't take that long, but you never know.
You could probably 'adapt' the '05's to the '07 Wayne.

Man, and you still had the M after a year, guess they took a chance on that.
