Cheap flash cards?

Okay, now that I've got the car, I need to start playing with the goods. Anyone know where to get the cheapest flash cards? I also need a reader for my computer. I've checke out eBay but am wondering if there's anything cheaper out there.

I recently purchased a new CF card myself. You can find decent prices from places like tigerdirect, but the cheapest prices (at least what I found) were on eBay.

Fry's usually has a good selection and very competitive prices. Fry's stores are found in various places around the U.S., mostly in California and Texas. For those without the pleasure of a nearby Fry's, try frys.com.

www.dealnews.com frequently has some cheap ones listed. They update it every day.

Watch out for eBay. The reason why some of them are so cheap is because they're fake.

try going to www.pricegrabber.com it searches tons of sites, and shows you which places have the cheapest price for the item you are looking for.

Has anyone used a 4GB card yet? I thought I read a 2GB card might be the largest you could use.

If that's the case I guess I'm stuck with a really large card for my camera!

I haven't seen that anywhere Mike. I don't recall seeing a 2GB limit in the Manual either. I can't see how the size of the CF card mattters.

There is a limit to the number of songs/files available to play, not necessarily on the card itself. I'm sure someone else on here can recall the number.

I haven't had the opportunity to test this in the G yet, but I have a 2GB SD for my canon camera that will not read in my notebook. I searched all over and found out that the drivers for my card reader only support up to 1GB.
