All you guys that have taken delivery of your G so far......well you just suck! Just joking, I am just envious.

All kidding aside, can't you just cancel your agreement and just go to a dealer and buy the car today and take it home?
You shouldn't put up with the dealership you dealt with imho. With so many people taking delivery already, I would question their ability to deliver a car. And you've also proved there isn't any "ordering an Infiniti." It's all about the dealership getting the car for you...you've no formal order with Infiniti per se as the end user. We're talking about a 35-40k car, it's simply not believable that nobody knows where it is.
Go and get the car this weekend, and good luck!

Be like the anxiety group I recently completed at the VA, or maybe like AA, LOL! Wayne is the shortimer on the list anyway, LOL!

That's why I think it's good that with BMW you can track the car all the way from being an order that hasn't reached production, to the order getting a VIN, moving through the body/paint/assy shops, to the port of exit (Bremerhaven for example) through BMW directly, without the dealer, and the customer's name is on the order. That gives the process legitimacy. Once the car is on a ship from Germany to Jersey City, the dealer is the one that gets the name of the ship for the customer and tracks the rest of the processing.
It just drives me crazy with some of the practices car dealers deploy, like writing orders they can't fill, and then keeping the customer hanging...well I've learned here that if I (or maybe my g/f or friends) want a G, just buy it from the lot...

Also, the dealership that I purchased my car from currently only has one 07 G on their lot. They too are waiting for more arrivals from Vancouver. Btw, I only have one Infiniti dealership close, and that is still a 4 hour drive away. The next closest would be about an 8 hour drive away. Unfortunately I don't have the luxury of shopping around at various dealerships.
While it sucks that I will be getting my G a little later than anticipated, it is no one's fault and I will just have to wait like everyone else.

It's easy to make suggestions on the boards without knowing the entire situation.
