I was hoping for a more aggressive sound from the dual exhaust when the driver gets on the gas...I hope someone comes out with a better muffler with more aggressive sound at WOT

i think that was infinitis intention of reducing exhausts noise but they made it louder than the current sedan! its more so in between the sedan and coupe! and dont worry there will be plenty of aftermarket once the 07 and on models have been on the market and onces tuners grab a hold of the car!

Kind of miss the rumble of my FX. It is such a distinctive sound.. you always know there is an FX or Couple in the garage.

I agree. I think they'll preserve the purring on the 08' coupes. Since the sedan is targeted for usually a more 'mature' audience, I think Nissan wanted to keep it suddle while still maintaining a unique sporty sound to it.

All in all, I think they made it nice - definitely beats the current 03'-06' sedan exhausts.

I personally wouldn't want a louder exhaust... but that's just me, this is my daily driver not a track/weekend car. The G is considerably louder then my Acura was, though that is by no means a bad thing

Just heard the exhaust note while the wife was driving away. It did sound fairly weak. Oh well the rest of the car makes up for it.

I was at the Dealers today and a fellow took off at a pretty good clip from the dealers in a 07 Blue Slate Sport, and the exhaust sound was very subdued, I'm not positive but I really think my 05 sedan is louder.
I was hoping it would have a bit more growl to it.
