Anyone Trade In Their Old G For The New 07?

Has anyone out there traded in their older G coupe for the new sedan? If so what year was it how many miles packages, and what did they give you for it?

My dealer offered me $20k CDN for my 03 Sedan loaded except Navi with 76,000 kms (47,500 miles). I had a buyer for my 03 all lined up but they backed out......and unless my dealer is willing to renegotiate the trade value, I have to sell my G before I get my 07.

More power, same toys, and cheaper. But it is with mixed feelings...the M is a sight to behold behind the wheel, especially at night. But then again, it needs a kick in the pants to get going.

Makes sense I guess. It obviously wouldn't have quite the same pick up and go as the new G, but the M is one sexy car. I LOVE the dash layout of the M. Congrats on the purchase of the G.

Saying goodbye to your old G

For those of you who have traded or sold a first gen G, or are considering doing so, doesn't it seem amazing that it is only worth what you got for it? My first series '03 sedan still looks and feels like a luxury car. I have about 64K miles on her. Seems amazing that she is only worth $15K to $17K. I guess a 4 year old G35 is a great used car buy.

Then again, would I want to buy such a complex car with these miles on it, out of warranty? Hmm.
