I think I will go with 50% all around except front windshield, I don't like the variation of different percentage on my car.

So I wouldn't say its "a complete waste of money" -- this will protect your interiors better than no tint.

you just can't risk going darker than that in the bay area (esp. when it is clearly against the law) - you are just asking for trouble. Yes - they pull over just for 35% in the front there.
Im pretty sure they cant be any stricter in the Bay Area compared to Los Angeles.

Good looks comes at a price... a slight risk.

Did you really put a red "S" on your rear G35 badging?

If Infiniti packaged the car with that badge - terrible.

If you put that on - want some super sized chop sticks to go with that huge, steaming bowl of rice?

It comes with the car. Try doing some research before you call someone out like that.

You are really going to judge a car based on a little red "S" attached to the G35 on the back of the car?

GoofyG28, how much did they charge? I'm in the same area and I'm looking for a tint shop that does good work.

The car looks great! I've definitely decided upon the Blue Slate when I purchase my G in the short future (as soon as I can sell the M5 for a reasonable price) - as far as the tint, I concur with the others as far as the "unbalanced" look is concerned - I would have done 35% on all the sides (what is legal in TX anyways) and would have just waited for law enforcement to tell me otherwise... kinda like a front license plate!!!

I'm not a fan of the unbalanced looking tint. It' gives cops something to compare with to know you have tint for sure. I have to say that tinting the front windshield is just plain negligent. I know a lot of people do it but you have just reduced your night vision by 50%

Check out http://www.automalltintfactory.com, and ask for Sidney. Tell him Gary sent you. It's $300 cash if done on a weekday. Only took Gerardo 2 hours to do it.

Great car - good pics! I've got 35% all the way around to maintain the consistency ... but you're right - we get away with that in SoCal
