Wee need More Pics of the Blue Slate G35!! Anyone care to start a thread with this Color?

 

I was doing some searches on the internet for the Blue Slate and some sites stated that it's called Blue Slate Pearl Metallic. Does the Blue Slate have pearl in it? That could be one of the reasons why it tends to change color at certain angles and lighting.

 

I wouldn't go as far as to call it "pearl", but it's very metallic for sure. And, with all metallic paints, you get that shimmer and change in color at various lighting angles. With the Blue Slate, it's usually a dark gray. You see the "blue" shine the most when parked indoors or under brighting spot lighting (like a lamp post, dealership flood light, garage light, etc.).

 

I just realized I'm supposed to take some night pics for you guys, too! I'll do that tonight. I just got my Zaino kit yesterday, so I can't wait to let this baby shine this weekend.

 

I'll just repost these for now, to show you how the right lighting brings out the blue (almost purple).
