Heated Seats?

Heated Seats?
It's 36 degrees out and raining and I decided to try out my heated seats the 1st time today on the way home from work.
I flipped it to "high" and waited... and waited... and waited... Finally after about 5 minutes I felt a little warmth in the seat back but nothing in the seat cushion.
Hmmm... I turned on the heater for the passenger seat and left it on for about 5 minutes and felt it.
The back of the chair got warm but not the seat cushion.
So it seems that the only part of the seat that is heated is the seat back
and not the cushion?
Can someone else confirm?

That's weird. I didn't even know the back of the seat heats up. When I put it on low, I definitely feel the warmth from the seat bottom. On high, it sometimes burns my a$$. Can't wait to really use them when the weather gets colder here. Thanks to global warming, it's still in the mid 60s here in the Bay Area.

With heated seats, the Germans will always own the Japanese, badly.
A pair of MB seat heaters will literally light a fire under your...well, let's just say using second-stage heat requires heck to freeze over. With the G35 the second-stage heaters help a little bit, but they're largely just to take the edge off.

At first I thought the lower setting was worthless. But now, I like the subtle heat it gives. It's like the High setting on the new car is equal to the Low setting on my old 2003. And now we have a weaker yet 3rd setting.
