havent had a chance to drive or hear a 07 drive , but does the dual exhaust sound like the similar to the fx 35 or even the g coupe?

It def sounds like the FX and G Coupe, at least IMO. Loved the sound when I test drove it last weekend.

Here's the video I took:

I wouldn't say it's close to the G Coupe at all, maybe an FX35. It's more of a slight growl than it is loud and demeaning.

So have you heard it or haven't you?? In your first post you stated you haven't heard it, but above you stated that it doesn't sound mean.

I think he was commenting after he heard the note in the video. The link plays a very brief sound clip of it.

I don't think the 2 secs of note you hear is enough to make a decision.

Canuck, I think your waiting for your Garnet Ember is wearing you down. You should go do some more test drives to rejuvenate your '07 G35 soul. Oh wait, are there even ANY '07s at the dealership?

I actually thought it was definitely quieter then my 05 sedan. When we were on the test drive I commented to my wife that it was too quiet maybe some exhaust changes might be in order. She just gave me the look and rolled her eyes .
Now I am just going by the sound while in the car , I never really listened to it outside.

Not sure I'd want it to be demeaning...

it is a deeper tone altogether than the fx or coupe. I am not sure if its quieter cause I have only heard it from inside. With the windows up the engine growl drowns out the ehhaust- but with them down it is def there and nice.

They have one 07 on their lot, but I haven't bothered to take the 4 hour drive to get test drive it.

It's louder then my '03 but still pretty quiet unless you stomp on it. I was looking at the chrome tips closely today and must say they are crap. Just a piece of aluminum real thin and cheap looking. I'm going to see about replacing them with something a little nicer. Also when looking from the side you see the narrow tail pipe.

I wonder if the tips off the Coupe would look out of place?
