07 G35 owners - Sport vs. Journey?

I'm toying with the Sport vs. the Journey. I drive mostly on surface streets as opposed to highway driving. I prefer a real smooth ride while I'm out and about, but I do like to have fun once in a while.

Does the fun of the sport out weigh the smoothness of the Journey? I'm thinking the sport would be a lot of fun to drive, but I don't want to have a stiffer suspension for normal city driving.

I've driven the Sport and the Journey, but my test drives were short and I didn't notice a huge difference.

Thanks.

I find my sport ride very good. I haven't driven a journey so I can't tell you the difference. Unless you have really bad roads where you are the sport should be fine. Plus you get bigger brakes and I love the sport seats.

I'm in the same spot, only drive and test-drove a Sport. But I will say that over my normal back roads to and from work (not "back roads" like "back country roads that are fun to drive" - these are subdivisions and minor roads) the S handles ripples, road crowns etc. just fine. No jarring or bumping, just feels solid - and when you DO get to a sharp corner or two, lots of fun

I third the above opinions. My sport is very very smooth, certainly not comparable to something like a 7-series but very comparable to even a 5-series. I personally don't feel high speeds at all...

EDIT: sorry, I don't know why I busted those BMW comparisons out of nowhere...the point is: it's a smooth ride.

I test drove the journey and was disapointed with the new G.
I think toyota avalone will suit u better if u think sport suspension would be too harsh for u. (Not being sarcastic at all)
