However, the AJAC voting didn't fare so well for the G35x. It fell to second place behind...Lexus ES350???
I demand a recount!

Best New Luxury Car Under $50,000
Because of a lack of sufficient entries, there was no $50,000-$75,000 luxury car category this year; the entries were clustered in the Prestige Car class (above $75,000) and this category. The front-drive Lexus ES 350 triumphed here, beating the all-wheel-drive Lincoln MKZ and 306-hp Infiniti G35X in what came as a surprise, at least to me.

I just read that AJAC thing..those guys are on definite crack. It's a horribly designed comparison... here's a list of the problems that annoyed me most:
1) compare an S8 to a S63 AMG not the S550...even tho the prices MIGHT match up more, it's still a different class.
2) the category: "best sports car under 50k" WTF!! Their choices came down to VW GTi, Mazda speed3 and an acura?? OK this is the category in which the G OWNNNSSS. not just the G, there's the IS350, bmw 328, some trims of the 335...These cars demolish the any of the 3 cars mentioned above, but they werent even IN the contest.
3) OK read this: "The 335i's combination of excellent overall performance, great handling and relatively good value (starting at $51,600, it's almost half the price of the more exciting Audi)"...WHAT? they're comparing a $hitty 335 to an RS4?? and then saying ''it's good value''. Wow man journalists are allll in BMW's pocket. Since when is the 335 a competitor with 70k cars? that's definite M3 category. I would expect this sort of comparison from official BMW sources, not supposedly bias-free "journalists".
4) ahh im jus pissed cuz that article sucks.

I do agree though...some of their results are questionable.
