If you think we pull any punches around here, then you're seriously mistaken.

Smaller issues get just what they deserve: concern and discussion, but no panic.
---followed closely by a trip to the dealer where a pretty good warranty takes over.

Regarding issues though, I haven't seen any problems that appear to be worth worrying about? There's been the sunroof rubber gap (fixed on mine too), one or two threads on Bose, one SES light (), a thread or two on programming bluetooth...? These don't to me add up to actual problems in the car's design - maybe it's because working in the high tech industry, I know things are rarely perfect...

Exactly, G35Now.....and it's foolish to expect perfection isn't it?
Whoever says that we pull punches around here about issues "large or small", simply isn't listening and has their head in the clouds. (or stuck somewhere else.)

Indeed, the only 'undertoe' around here is mainly directed toward stupid remarks and unwarranted criticism by those few who seem unpleased and dissatisfied by almost everything.
Makes one wonder why they come here.

But I guess some get off on that. Kinda like 'trolling' isn't it? I haven't seen much of that in recent years, thank God, but there is that small element who is bent more on upsetting people.
It gets a bit long in the tooth if you know what I mean. It even tries the patience of a guy like me.

So in conclusion, G35now, I'll say that you're not "lost" -- no worries, -- you're exactly where you want to be --- where almost all will give you the straight scoop while being as fair and as unbiased about Infinitis as you might expect on an Infiniti forum.......

Glad to have you along....I look forward to your assessment of your car as I suspect many here are .

Dude, this thread jinxed everyone. I just had my first "crash" this morning. I think it's related to the BT, because my phone was stuck and eventually crashed (shut down), too. I was listening to something on my CF card, parked, playing around with the POI input, when suddenly, the screen just froze. The music kept playing, but I couldn't do anything but restart the system (turn car off, then turn back on to ACC). Really no biggie, IMO.

What annoyed me more was that the system can't handle filenames with Asian characters. I'm using a 2GB CF card. This sucks so bad. I wonder if it'll play my burned MP3 CDs that have Asian filenames.

Yep, very well said indeed Colin. I don't understand why people have to concentrate on such petty things when they could be enjoying the car instead.

That is interesting GoofyG28 because I was trying to dial ut on BT to my Moto Razr when mine crashed and afterword I lost haf the Phonebook from the car and all of the voice tags...The BT link may need better crash protection which hopefully can be installed as a firmware upgrade from the CF slot...
