Yeah, no worries. I can't be provided a loaner by the dealership due to the age restrictions, so they get me camping out on-site until a dianosis is complete, and I'll be doing a ridearound with them to figure out the other issues.

I'm also going in for a rather annoying CD-ROM drive read issue that doesn't happen with the changer (the changer -should- be more finicky with discs) but it's reading stuff the HU just eats itself on or skips wildly. Also asking them to diagnose and fix the rear-right door wind noise that a few of us have found.

Perhaps I should also find out who did the PDI on this car...*ponders*...

That's a great question. Mine don't work well, I have a non-sport. Does anyone's that do work well have a non-sport?

Spoke to the dealer today, let him know about this (and the other thread about it) and he said the "zone rep" was coming later this week and he would discuss the issue with the zone rep, since it seems to be a common problem.

My seats are weak too. I have an X.

We should use a poll for this.
  • Yes. Journey
  • No. Journey
  • Yes. Sport
  • No. Sport
  • Yes. X
  • No. X

I get the '07S back tomorrow for the day - I'll give it a try as it is cold up here now. I will say that it should make no difference as to the seat-heater components from one seat to another - but only one way to find out.

Same problem here with my 07 Journey. Seats barely get warm after 15-20 minutes and then only in the seat back, not the seat cushion.

I think I have only used the seat heater once in my 05 so it really doesn't matter to me.
I wish I could exchange them for a steering wheel heater like I had on my Maxima. It was a comfort on cold mornings.
I get my 07 in 2 days so I will check the seat heaters for you guys .

Good news Wayne.

I'm surprised you don't use the seat heaters. They were a daily item with my Jeep from Dec- April.

I use the seat heaters every single day of life this time of year. The best heated seats I have had so far by a mile are in my QX4. They work extremely well.

I guess I already got enough extra padding there to keep me warm .

They suck in the FX too. I was hoping that they fixed that. I guess not.
