G35S seats
G35S seats
Hello All,
I'm new to this board but very interested in the 07 G35S. I test drove one last night and I love this car but found the driver seat to be very uncomfortable mainly because of the "thigh bolsters". Tried all the adjustments but could not find a comfortable position.
I hate to downgrade to a Journey but the driver seat on the Journey seems to be very comfortable.
I'm hoping that this is normal and you kinda just get used to them after a while.
Your input is greatly appreciated.
Thanks

are you fat?
just kidding!!
It took me a while to get the side bolsters and thigh bolsters adjusted right, but now i'm finding it really comfy. better than my old IS300s seats fit me.
I don't like the front extension. the gap it leaves is uncomfortable for me.

So, assuming that you adjusted them out (not in
), it may just be because they are deliver support where you're not used to it.
Sorry, but I can't relate. I think the 07' seats are even more supportive and comfortable than my 04' coupe ones. BTW, just for measurement sakes, I'm 6'0", 184lb. - Not overweight, but certainly no stick by any means.
Unless you think you can live with the journey model, I'd say go for the sport model. As long as you are not overweight, there shouldn't be a reason for you not to get used to it and eventually - even love it.

i'm 5 7 165 and at first drive was so concerned I'd hate the side bolsters against my legs that I considered not getting the Sport. Bu the rest of the package is so good that I too a chance. Now after 2000 miles they are just there holding me in and not a problem at all. And, I like the thigh extention in the front.
