I had the Roadblock installed at the dealership and noticed that there is roughly a postage-stamp sized piece missing from the film on the bumper near a lower corner. It looks like the installer tore a piece off while removing the film from the backing and continued to use the piece anyway.
I know it is an obvious imperfection also because the other side of the bumper does not have the same problem.
I'm considering having them redo that piece, particularly since it cost hundreds of dollars. However, I'm afraid of them damaging the paint during the re-application. What does everyone else think? Would you have them redo the piece or just live with it because it is a small area?

I wouldn't just consider them re-doing it......I would demand them to redo it. I am quite meticulous and that little spot would drive me crazy. Plus, more than likely that would be where you get hit with a stone chip.

yep, you will ALWAYS get a chip or two right where you dont have cover. when i had a clear bra i got chips on my hood 1cm below the end of the bra on my hood (just above the grill)

When mine was done they left to big of gaps on the nose area piece. I took it back to the dealer who had the installer standing there as I drove in. He had it replaced in 1/2 an hour. It won't hurt the paint, you paid for it have it done right.
