Mp3 cd transfer into HD?
Really? The trunk mounted CD player in cars with Nav won't play MP3 CD's? That sucks. My non Nav one plays MP3 CD's and it's great! CF slot would be nice too, cause it's easier to change whats on it than a CD, but that sucks that your changer wont do MP3 cds.

It's not as if the equipment isn't available. (My 6 pack plays MP3s)
JMHO, but a standard 6 pack is just a waste of the trunk space.

I still think that despite its limitations having a hard drive AND a CF slot puts Infiniti far beyond the competion for entertainment features. Oh yeah and I almost forgot the AV jacks, another great feature. Everyone made a big deal about Acura with the 5.1, but this is WAY more useful. No other car offers all this, kudos to Infiniti.

Actually I have to defend G-lanta...You're right G-lanta, 6 CD's do hold more mp3's than a 2gb flash card. I must have had a few too many that night. Anyway, the CF option just seams more functional and easier to use than CD's. I guess you just have to experience the system and use it to understand why.
The in-trunk 6 CD changer is a waste. I'll never use it, and it takes up space. I do like the music box, it rips CD's quickly, and gracenote works pretty good as far as album/song recognition. I do have a problem with the non-functional menu while in motion, that's why two - 2 gb cards work the best for me. I got the Ultra II's on sale at Staples a few weeks ago for $39 US each....now you can't find them for under $60 anywhere.
