Junk cars while in high school:
1971 Ford Mavrick - Purchased in 1987 (horrible rust bucket)
1977 AMC Hornet - Purchased in 1988 (horrible rust bucket)
Junk cars while in the military:
1977 Buick LeSaber - Purchased in 1990 (cheap transportation)
1977 Nissan Cedric - Purchased in 1991 (cheap transportation while stationed in Okinawa)
1987 Toyota Trueno (Corolla) - Purchased in 1992 (fun to drive...wrecked after owning for 1-day
)
1984 Nissan Bluebird Maxima - Purchase in 1992 (cheap transportation while stationed in Okinawa)
Junk cars while in college:
1984 Toyota Tercel - Purchased in 1993 (cheap and VERY reliable)
1984 Honda Prelude - Purchased in 1993 (reliable transportation)
1987 Isuzu Impulse - Purchased in 1994 (fun to drive, horrible reliability)
Decent cars after college:
1991 Toyota Celica - Purchased 1997 (very reliable, comfortable, and good looking car)
1999 Honda Civic - Purchased 1999 (Extremely reliable car...never had a problem...knock on wood...still own it)
Mid-life crisis car:
2006 Infiniti G35 - Purchased 2009 (All SMILES)
The G35 is definitely a big step up from every car I've ever owned. Although I have had more problems with this car in the 10-months that I've owned it than I've had with my previous two cars combined; I love my G...and it's the best car I've ever owned!

99 Chrysler Cirrus LXi. Broken Radio. 240K on the clock. Bald tires. Non-functioning sunroof. Broken fuel gauge. No hubcaps. But damn did I love that car. I drove the s**t out of that thing, abused it to no end.
I drove it for two years and learned a lot of lessons and had a lot of hardship with it. All in all that car served me pretty well and I definitely did not deserve a better car for the learning experience. Then I got the 08 G35X which has become my complete obsession.
