I really have no idea how easy it would be to install your own clear bra, but you can buy a 3M Clearbra here for a decent price below. I would guess that installing the mirrors, hood, and fenders wouldn't be too bad, but I am not sure I would attempt the bumper myself.

Shane...it seems that the ones you posted don't cover as much of the fender and mirrors as the XPel ones:

Also, it has more cuts in the bumper (don't know if that's good or bad tho).

Shane, I think it might be tricky to install properly. If you got someone to install it that would guarentee their work, it would be worth it.
It's a must have, for sure.

have you checked with your dealer to see if they have any xpel clear bra deals? when I bought my car, the price was $299 US.
It included the hood, fender portion of the Hood, fender and mirror kit that x-pel has on their web site as well as the upper half of the bumper kit.
Combined price is $550 on x-pel's site, minus whatever the cost of the mirror and lower portion of the bumper kit would be. Given the relatively small coverage are of the mirror and lower portion of the bumper kit, $299 installed was a pretty good price. I could have gotten the mirror kit installed for another 100 bucks more I think, but I decided I didn't care enough.

I've seen first hand the amount of work it takes to install on an 07 G and would recommend leaving it to the pros.
I also just noticed the ebay kits are not from XPEL. The XPEL hood coverage is quite a bit more and with fewer seams on the bumper.

Shane I think you would have a lot more trouble than you bargained for. Even someone with quite a bit of experience needs a lot of patience and skill. I watched them do a bit of mine.
I wouldn't even consider it, personally.

I did do some flat small easy spots like the plastic runner on the inside of the door before the Infiniti kick plate, as well as the runner board? area behind my splash guards and the top of my back bumper where it gets scratched if you slide something out from the trunk. I also did my 05 where the seat belts hit on the side when you let them go & the back of the plastic part you hit to stick something thru your trunk.
I bought it by the yard at GE, like $2.50/yard X 24"
There's a place here near Oakland that does expensive cars -- from G35s (I know our cars aren't THAT expensive) to Lambos. They use this super high quality film that never turns yellow like 3M does. Their work is so custom, you will never see where the bra ends around areas like your headlights and front fenders. I.e., they do NOT have templates. They roll an entire sheet out and mold it to your car -- like plastic wrap for your food.
Never install or remove it yourself. It really takes a skilled person to do this kinda thing.

I was in the same situation as you couple weeks ago. I didnt want to spend 700 to get the clear bra installed and was going to buy the kit from ebay. Im glad I didnt do that. The company that did mine had a precut kit but the second the installer saw the car in person he knew right away the precut kit wouldnt give him the perfect finish that he wanted. He started from a uncut roll and did a custom job on the front bumper. The installer had the hardest time on the headlights as well but im glad I paid to get it done and would pay to get it done again if I had to. If you have any questions let me know!
