This is looking good:
Thank you for replay.
The reason we asked where you from is, we have not yet look at 07 model
ECU as of right now.
If you are from local we could have you come in and if it is possible we
can make your car to be able to run with our spare ECU while we do R&D
on your ECU.
We will need your ECU for about 2 weeks to break the pass code to access
memory in the CPU.
If you can give up your ECU for 2 weeks, please let us know.

I'm more interested in someone hacking the nav system so nothing's grayed out when the car's in motion, and I can watch AV input in drive. Yes yes, it's all dangerous, but I hate having to pull over to access my downloaded phone book list! Plus, if there's a passenger in the front, nothing should be grayed out, so that person can have full access to all the menus. I digress...

I have their ECU and it is the best performance upgrade I did to my car and I've done a few. The first gen sedans had alot of room for improvement due to the tune allowing 87 gas.
It's still up in the air if TS will be able to do much with the '07 as I would suspect it's pretty much optimal already. Never hurts to try though, especially if they guarantee in writing that they buy a new ECU and pay for a rental car while Japan ships a new one if they fry it.

I was just looking on youtube and came across this vid http://www.youtube.com/results?searc...=2007+g35+walk it was just some dealer giving a walk around of the car....and in the video he says that the nav and "any of the software and electronics" can be updated via the compact flash port (ie. for service etc)....im wondering if the ecu can be updated via the cf port? it would be really cool if the ecu can be updated this way
