Lift wheel and slide seat back

Just wondering how many people use the lift steering wheel and slide seat back on exit option? I found it interesting that those are disabled by default, and that their selection also affects the synchronization of wheel and mirrors when you move the seat.

I recently enabled mine. Not sure I really like it. I don't like having to wait for the seat to move once I open the door. Also, I don't like how the seat goes down so low. I'd prefer it to just move back, and not also lower. Also makes it hard for people to get in the back seat, since the drivers seat doesn't move forward until you hit the start button. Also, not sure I really want the extra wear and tear on the motors to have the seat always moving. So, I think I may turn these back off, (although I do like the mirror/wheel synchronization, as I often adjust my seat to different positions on long drives).

So... who uses these features, and what do you like/dislike about them?

I personally like the option and use it all the time, but this point you mentioned is my only concern.

Not a great idea if you have a rear passenger. I lift the wheel only, but don't really need that.

You need to add an option in the poll for 6MT owners. We don't even have that feature.

Why is that they don't have many of the same options for the 6MT. What's the big deal or difficulty? Just like the rear vents. It can be done.

As per the manual;

The entry/exit function can be activated
or canceled by pressing and holding the
SET switch for more than 10 seconds
while the ignition switch is in the LOCK
position.
The indicator light will blink once when
the function is canceled, and the indicator
light will blink twice when the function is
activated.
The entry/exit function can also be activated
or canceled from the setting display.
See ªVehicle information and settings
º in the ª4. Monitor, climate, audio,
phone and voice recognition systemsº
section.

Wow, I'm kind of surprised at the large percentage of people that use it.

I would use the seat movement if it moved when the car is turned off, not when the door is opened.
